Qualifications:

  • Sea service of at least 3 years in rank of Chief Engineer LNG vessel(s)
  • Bachelor/Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Marine) with min 2-year experience as Superintendent
  • Experience with LPG vessels (on board/supervision) will be considered an asset
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Basic knowledge of Main & Auxiliary Engines

Job Description

  • Ensures that vessels are operated, maintained and repaired according to Company/Class Requirements, International Regulations, Industry Standards and maintain valid certification
  • Provides technical support to vessels, troubleshoots, and coordinates with third parties for technical assistance.
  • Monitors testing of equipment, reporting on technical non-conformities and follows up.
  • Manages vessel supply and Services needs.
  • Attends the vessels at frequent intervals
