What you will do:

As a Data Scientist in the Sales AI team at NN Hellas, you will play a key role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and validate business hypotheses. You will develop predictive models for sales performance, extract actionable insights, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills.

Your day-to-day:

  • Design, build, and optimize predictive models for sales KPIs and performance forecasting.
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
  • Collaborate with the AI Product Owner to define and implement AI use cases aligned with strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the Central Data team to ensure data quality, accessibility, and readiness for modelling.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to validate hypotheses.
  • Contribute to the development of a data-driven culture within the Sales Division.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Scientist role, preferably in sales or insurance environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of predictive modeling techniques (regression, classification, time series forecasting).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and deploying models into production environments.
  • Understanding of business processes in the insurance sector (preferable).
