AP Accountant

Responsibilities

The role of the Accounts Payable involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization You will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations

In more detail:

· Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices

· Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

· Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data

· Ensure My Data compliance and development of the project when necessary

· Understand expense accounts and cost centers

· Perform and support internal controls by performing reconciliations

· Meet month end deadlines

· Maintaining historical records

· Support the Accounting Department

· Participate in various projects

· Being Involved in monthly VIES, VAT, WHT, EFKA reconciliation

Qualifications and Experience

· BSc degree or associate's degree in Finance or Accounting from Higher (AEI) or High (ATEI)

· years accounts payable or general accounting experience

· Excellent Knowledge of MS Office Excel

· Knowledge IFRS and Greek GAAP

· SAP knowledge will be considered a plus

· Adaptability in new software platforms

· Excellent English - written and verbal

· Interpersonal and communication skills

· Keen attention to detail

· Ability to work under pressure

· Strong organizational skills

· Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
