The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
•
Posting and reconciliation of accounts
• Revenue control and monitoring
• Management and execution of daily accounting tasks
• Responsible for the tax obligations of the vessels, the management company, and the Greek authorities
• Keeping of Greek books in accordance with Law 89/67 and the company's my data platform of AADE
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A' Class Accountant license is required
• 4–5 years of experience in a similar position within the shipping sector
• Excellent command of the English language
• Strong computer literacy
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of ERP DANAOS software will be considered an asset
