The Sales Support Officer, will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and supporting a wide range of crucial sales operations processes. This role involves initiating sales proposals (price and guarantee) in close cooperation with the Large Accounts team, Marketing, and Finance. The Sales Support Officer will proceed with Large Accounts contract creation, prepare digital signature requests, and ensure accurate data inclusion in cover letters and all accompanying documents. The Sales Support Officer will also manage the swift and accurate representation of large account clients, create Large Account customer and meter profiles in CRM, and insert rates, guarantees, and special terms. Additionally, he/she will ensure the timely and accurate renewal of all Large Account clients, complete pre-billing actions for accurate pricing, prepare data analytics, and report all assigned sales metrics to the Sales Support Section Manager, other Sales Section Managers, and Head of Sales. The role also involves communicating with external entities such as HEDNO, IPTO, PPC, RAE, and other energy suppliers to resolve various issues, providing After Sales Network Agent support, and ensuring sales-related platform functionality by requesting system updates and maintenance from IT through "change requests".
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Sales Proposals for potential Customers & monitor the full proposal process from beginning to end in order to provide insight and to apply corrective measures & reminders.
- Be responsible for creating contracts, representation of documents, letter of guarantee templates that define the pricing, method of payment & guarantee amount of Large Accounts. This is done based on specific policy guidelines and is the Sales Support Officer's responsibility to maintain & assure policy is being duly followed.
- Notify Key Account Managers on expiring contracts and proceeds to the contract renewal process.
- Be responsible for the characterization of accounts as "Large" as well as for the client "usage type categorization" which defines large differences in regulated charges and needs high accountability.
- Prepare Signature Request folder for upper management to review and sign contracts thus receiving final authorization to represent the client.
- Proceed to the representation process of Large Account Clients through the DNO for Electricity and EDA for Natural Gas.
- Manage the CRM system for Large Accounts and be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating client and meter profiles as well as pricing, through the creation of packages and rates, avoiding at all costs possible mistakes that may cost the company.
- Provide data analytics for Sales and company-wide reporting. Be solely responsible for inserting and handling data of large clients within the CRM for reporting purposes, and the accuracy of this information.
- Support sales processes and the agent network in various sales functions including special projects such as Natural Gas Facilitation, Client closed list support, PV roof and Net metering projects, and IT sales systems (WEB-CRM & Portal) ensuring functionality. Proceeds to the creation and maintenance of most Sales related IT tools.
- Maintain Agent Portal by providing necessary accesses to partner and initial portal documentation uploads relevant material, and monitors portal for obsolete content.
- Calculate cyclically and ad hoc sales partner network fees and arranges payment process of the partners as well as reporting.
- Provide various forms of support to other Sales team members such as tender support, WEB-CRM sales network support and training (e.g. regarding back-office process), multilevel information maintenance, Services contracts, SAP movement, process monitoring, PV roof contracts, Letter of Guarantees, Green Certificates, requesting and sending Article 11 no call list, and REMIT process.
Requirements
- A BSc in Electrical engineering, Project management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
- Post-graduate studies in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Operation or similar role.
- Be proficient or a Native English speaker.
- Microsoft Office, ERP/CRM proficiency (preferably Salesforce), SAP.
- Attention to detail , analytical skills and a project management orientation.
- Excellent communication skills.
