The Key Account Manager serves as the main point of contact between the company and its key clients. The role involves maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction to promote client retention and growth. The position reports directly to the Industrial Sales & Contract Manufacturing Manager, ensuring alignment with the company's overall client relationship strategy.

Key Responsibilities

· Client Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients

· Travel & Meet in person with clients working on agendas promoting company's growth strategy

· Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams

· Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs

· Account Development

· Identify new business opportunities within existing account

· Project development of new portfolios and categories within existing account

· Develop strategic plans to increase revenue and market share within key accounts

· Prepare account plans and conduct regular business reviews with clients

· Sales and Revenue Growth

· Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs related to key accounts

· Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits

· Costing in regular basis (quarterly, monthly, spot etc) depending on the agreement

· Forecast and track key account metrics (eg. monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

· Cross Functional Collaboration

· Coordinate with internal teams (eg, RnD, Quality, Production, Finance) to meet clients expectations.

· Communicate client feedback and market insights to influence product development and service improvements.

· Problem Solving

· Address client issues and complaints efficiently to maintain trust

· Develop creative solutions to meet client needs and resolve conflicts

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Business administration or Economics

· Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role

· Experience in FMCG manufacturing industry

· Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relation management

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

· Strategic thinking and analytical skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

· Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to handle pressure and resolve client issues quickly.
