Aegean Baltic Bank is looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join its HR Department and contribute mainly to the administration of core functions including HRIS and employee record management, support of the payroll process, and labor law compliance.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable in HR-related practices, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and update employee records, both digitally and physically, and maintain the Bank's HRIS.
  • Support the monthly payroll preparation by collecting and verifying accuracy of all relevant data (e.g., absences, annual leaves, time records, overtimes).
  • Be responsible for the administration of the ERGANI platform and ensure timely submission of all related reports (new hires and terminations, work schedules, overtimes, annual leaves, remote working etc.).
  • Prepare HR-related documentation (i.e. certifications of employment), reports and other deliverables according to functional needs.
  • Stay up to date with labor laws and internal policies, to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a point of contact for staff, managers and external stakeholders to address HR-related to the role inquiries and requests.
  • Contribute insights and assist the team in the coordination of staff events and CSR initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and participate in ad hoc HR projects, if required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role. Familiarity with the banking sector is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. Master's degree in HR Management is considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with and understanding of relevant labor laws.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel; experience with HR-related software is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and resilience.
  • Foster a collaborative spirit and contribute effectively within a team-oriented setting.
  • Maintain discretion, empathy and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
