IT Project Manager

As part of its development, Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and is seeking an IT Project Manager.

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the successful execution of IT projects, ensuring that our objectives are met with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initial planning through to delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to establish project goals, timelines, and budgets
• Lead and support teams to ensure that all deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving throughout the process
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership
• Manage resources and coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth execution
• Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained in all project deliverables
• Implement an updated project prioritization framework that aligns with business goals
• Introduce regular project status meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and adjustments needed
• Utilize project management tools that provide real-time visibility into project status and resource utilization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
• Proficiency with project management tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum (certifications are a plus)
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage both internal teams and client relationships
• Experience with project management systems such as JIRA or Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure
• Experience with monitoring and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
