Financial Analysis Expert

We are seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our team.

  • Prepare consolidated financial reports, profitability analysis, and business results in line with Value-Based Management principles.
  • Deliver insightful data on profitability performance by preparing key performance indicators, analyzing variances, presenting findings, and recommending improvements.
  • Categorize all costs from both IFRS and management reporting perspectives, identify and reconcile differences in accounting treatments, and perform in-depth analysis of operating costs.
  • Review accounting data to ensure accuracy, compliance with IFRS and internal policies, and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to ensure consistent, cohesive, and accurate financial and management reporting.
  • Evaluate business needs and highlight areas of risk and improvement, including opportunities for reporting enhancements, automation, and process streamlining.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial and management reporting, as well as financial and business analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, ideally complemented by postgraduate studies.
  • Solid knowledge of Profitability Analysis and familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Working knowledge of key systems such as Altamira, Midland, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Firm understanding of accounting principles, cost categorization, and performance measurement.
  • Fluent in both English and Greek, written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative mindset, adaptability, and can-do attitude.
