Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Expense Verification: Verifying company expenses, invoices, receipts, purchases, travel, and other types of expenses.
  • Reconciliation: Reconciling bank account balances, corporate credit/debit cards, and other financial transactions.
  • Monthly Closing Procedures: Preparing and reviewing detailed and complex spreadsheets to analyze and review financial results.
  • Tax Statements Preparation: Preparing and submitting tax statements in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • BSc in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills in Greek and English
