Job Description

The Role of a Principal SAP FICO Consultant revolves around expertise and leadership in SAP FI and CO implementations, rollouts, and upgrades. This involves driving financial transformation initiatives for clients, ensuring seamless project delivery, optimizing finance processes, and providing technical and functional expertise to enable effective SAP financial systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end SAP FI and CO implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects across multiple industries.
  • Analyze, design, and optimize financial business processes within SAP to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP FI and CO configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate financial system requirements.
  • Oversee data migration, system integration, and comprehensive testing within SAP environments.
  • Mentor and lead a team of SAP consultants, fostering best practices and continuous development.
Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in SAP FI and CO consulting, implementation, and support.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in SAP FI and CO modules with strong understanding of end-to-end finance business processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling).
  • Experience working on SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and migrations is highly desirable.
  • Solid leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and drive business value through SAP solutions.
