About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail- oriented Accountant to join our Athens office. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing client accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and contributing to our mission of excellence. Key duties & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing comprehensive Accounting and Tax services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
• Collaborating with a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to assigned clients, addressing their accounting needs and offering insightful financial guidance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Demonstrating the highest standards of business ethics in all interactions.
• Ensuring timely, thorough, and accurate completion of all assigned work.

Requirements

What you bring

We are looking for a professional who aligns with our values and has the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in Accounting, preferably in an accounting firm.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; Familiarity with Epsilon Net is a plus.
• Expertise: Ability to draft VAT returns, Corporate Income Tax returns and Financial Statements, particularly for small entities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Greek and English.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Time Management: Skilled in managing multiple client accounts and meeting deadlines efficiently.
• Communication: Clear, professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem- solving: Proactive and resourceful in identifying and resolving issues for clients.
• Team- Oriented: Flexible, collaborative, and embodying a can-do attitude.
• Professionalism: Handles information and sensitive matters with confidentiality and integrity.
