As a Scientific Gases Business Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in achieving this vision by identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, academic, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential new customers through market analysis and competitor assessment.
    • Present and promote our scientific gases and related services to new and existing clients.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market share.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, laboratory managers, and procurement teams.
    • Conduct regular site visits to understand customer needs and offer customized solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Stay up-to-date on product portfolio applications and handling requirements.
    • Provide technical guidance to customers to ensure they select the best products and services for their operations.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to address customer queries and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Reporting and Administration:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in laboratory-related products or services.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations and the applications of scientific gases.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
