Laboratory Gases Business Developer

At Sol Group, we are seeking a talented Laboratory Gases Business Developer to join our team.

We have been present in Greece for over 110 years, producing and distributing technical and medical gases. Our company provides customized innovative solutions to meet the requirements of our customers, developing technologies, processes, and gas utilization devices. As a Laboratory Gases Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential new customers within the pharmaceutical, academic, and industrial sectors. You will present, promote, and sell scientific gases and related services to new and existing clients, achieving sales targets.

• Built long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, laboratory managers, and procurement teams.
• Conducted regular visits to client sites to understand their needs and offered customized solutions.

You will understand the product portfolio, including the applications and handling requirements of scientific gases. You will provide technical guidance to customers, ensuring they select the best products and services for their operations. You will collaborate with technical teams to address customer queries and troubleshoot any issues.

You will monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market share.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in laboratory-related products or services.
• Familiarity with laboratory operations and the applications of scientific gases is highly desirable.
