About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and managing Data Governance tools, designing and implementing data governance policies, developing and maintaining metadata assets, business glossaries, and stewardship models. The role also involves documenting data governance processes and providing training to users, as well as monitoring data quality metrics and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage Data Governance tools (IBM Knowledge Catalog, Microsoft Purview)
  • Design and implement data governance policies (e.g., data classification, access control)
  • Develop and maintain metadata assets, business glossaries, and stewardship models
  • Document data governance processes and provide training to users
  • Monitor data quality metrics and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR)

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in information technology or a relevant field, with minimum 1-2 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management roles. Strong understanding of data catalogs, data quality tools, data lineage, and stewardship processes is essential. Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and general compliance frameworks is also required. Additionally, hands-on experience with IBM Knowledge Catalog and/or Microsoft Purview is necessary.
