About this role:

We are seeking an experienced software development lead to join our product team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development of scalable, reusable components and data-driven features within our SaaS web application.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in full-stack development and leadership skills to manage a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing work for junior engineers and coaching senior engineers when needed;
  • Supporting team growth in areas like coding best practices, architecture, and SDLC;
  • Setting clear expectations and helping create career growth plans;
  • Managing performance and providing regular feedback;
  • Supporting onboarding for new team members.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Ensure monitoring and understand logging aspects of team-owned features;
  • Lead the delivery of roadmap features, stepping in to unblock the team when needed;
  • Drive feature discovery, resulting in the analysis and estimation of the work needed.

Requirements

What we're looking for:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field;
  • At least 2 years of people management experience, leading a team of 5-10 direct reports;
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in full-stack development;
  • Strong experience in the React ecosystem;
  • Development experience with Microsoft C#/.NET Core and additional programming languages;
  • Knowledge and active interest in Design Patterns and SOLID architecture principles;
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases and ORM frameworks;
  • Familiarity with microservices and REST APIs;
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and adapting to changing priorities.
