Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Goods Receipt Clerk to join our team at Conrad Athens The Ilisian. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for the receipt and inspection of all goods delivered to the hotel.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that all inventory is accurately accounted for, contributing to the smooth operation of the hotel's supply chain. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence by verifying that all products received meet quality standards and are properly documented.

To achieve this, you will be required to inspect all incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and invoices, record and manage inventory levels in accordance with hotel policies and procedures, and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate distribution of received goods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain, or hospitality is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receiving clerk, warehouse clerk, or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software
