We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Tax professional to join our organization in Greece. In this role, you will oversee accounting, tax, and filing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced and growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly closures, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and cash transfers.
  • Coordinate and oversee tax matters, collaborating with local advisors and external teams on income taxes, VAT, WHT, R&D deductions, and other tax-related activities.
  • Manage monthly accruals and ensure all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Support the finance team in implementing new accounting principles, tools, and internal process automation.
  • Oversee local statutory audits and ensure compliance with all local filings.
  • Collaborate with advisors (accounting, tax, auditors) to complete statutory, VAT, and income tax declarations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (CPA/CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in audit (preferably with Big 4 or Tier 2 audit firms).
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Working experience in a multinational group (ideally operating in the service market) will be preferred.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Greek and International accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment.
  • Experience managing diverse teams with varied competencies and backgrounds.
