About This Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to oversee our financial operations.

The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations while providing strategic financial insights to support effective decision-making.

The selected candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and day-to-day finance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor petty cash, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and disbursements.

  • Record and reconcile all bank transactions; prepare accurate monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Oversee accounts payable, process supplier invoices, and ensure timely payments.

  • Process and validate employee travel expenses within Greece, ensuring approvals and supporting documentation.

  • Track and coordinate contract renewals, such as health insurance and office leases.

  • Handle payroll processing, including social security, income tax calculations, and SAP entries.

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including prepaid expenses and provisions.

  • Reconcile profit and loss reports monthly, ensuring accurate cost allocations.

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.

  • Maintain accurate filing and documentation for all financial transactions.

  • Liaise with external auditors and provide support during audits.

  • Prepare financial and cost-related reports, particularly payroll-related items (e.g., health insurance, bonuses).

  • Communicate with banks and external vendors regarding financial matters.

  • Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and payroll processes.

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.

  • Experience with SoftOne is a plus.
