Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Controller to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will involve reconciling revenues and costs to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Business Control Senior Manager and engage with various stakeholders across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue streams, and cost structures to provide actionable insights and ensure financial health.
  • Data-Driven Financial Assurance: Conduct data-based assessments of critical revenue streams, analyzing large datasets to ensure accurate reporting of revenues and costs.
  • Global Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Business Control teams across Athens, Sweden, and Canada, fostering strong partnerships and aligning on best practices.
  • Process Optimization & Controls: Lead analysis, control, and continuous optimization of business processes, introducing robust controls and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments on ongoing projects, leveraging expertise to contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Ad-Hoc Strategic Analysis: Undertake other relevant business controlling tasks and ad-hoc analyses as needed, utilizing background and expertise to support evolving business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a relevant quantitative discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles heavily involved in managing, scrutinizing, and leveraging large volumes of business data to enhance performance and control.
  • Robust analytical capabilities allowing thorough analysis of financial and operational data, identifying trends, and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Outstanding communication skills fostering strong relationships and acting as a trusted business partner within the organization and with external entities.
  • A proven ability to quickly adapt to evolving business needs and successfully executing projects with various stakeholders across all organizational tiers.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and excellent professional level of English language proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 or Python is a distinct plus.
