Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental sustainability of our operations and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate environmental studies and data required for licensing new energy projects and production activities.
  • Participate in consultations and opinions on environmental production management.
  • Assist in drafting and execution of contracts with third parties related to environmental matters.
  • Collaborate with the Energy Licensing Sector for preparation and submission of files for permits and approvals.
  • Work with the Department of Environment and relevant units for environmental management and formulation of positions on environmental issues.
  • Monitor legislation on environmental and industrial safety issues.
  • Update archives of environmental permits and related data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree in environmental impacts or management will be considered an additional qualification.
  • At least five years of experience in environmental licensing of industrial and/or energy activities.
  • Experience in preparing A1 category Environmental Impact Assessments will be considered an additional qualification.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Internet.
  • Availability in case of emergency and urgent geographical relocations.
