EHS Officer
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced EHS Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Health and Safety strategies, promoting a safe work environment, communicating H&S guidelines through training, and investigating accidents.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health, safety & environmental procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and propose action plans for future improvement
- Analyze data related to H&S and promote corrective actions
- Ensure that environmental permits are maintained and kept up to date
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in an industrial company
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Analytical and critical thinking, problem solving ability
