Senior Construction Manager

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Chief Site Engineer. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing all engineering aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Lead and manage engineering teams to ensure successful project execution, maintaining close relationships with stakeholders, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to optimize efficiency, conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Review and approve engineering designs and technical documentation, collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and project execution.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management, including performance metrics and recommended corrective actions when necessary.
• Establish and maintain safety protocols and best practices across all job sites, ensuring the availability and efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in building construction projects, preferably in the hospitality and commercial sectors.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects, hands-on site experience in hotel construction projects is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Strong understanding of project organization, particularly regarding health and safety planning and implementation.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
