Job Description:

Ocado Technology is changing the way the world shops using advanced Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Big Data, Cloud and IoT. We develop innovative software and hardware systems that power Ocado's e-commerce platform.

The R&D department in Athens, Greece is working on developing disruptive material handling systems for the online grocery industry. The team is pioneering order fulfilment solutions and last-mile delivery business models tailored for retailers and supply chain-intensive sectors. Our mission is to assist them in overcoming the challenges inherent in modernising their systems and processes to effectively address complex industry issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug LabVIEW applications that interface with various testing instruments and data-acquisition hardware
  • Select and integrate sensors, collaborating with teams designing new test rigs and apparatuses
  • Respond to Test Engineer questions and requests, ensuring clear, up-to-date documentation of software and system designs
  • Take on hands-on engineering tasks like running experiments, troubleshooting setups, to build foundational skills in hardware testing and reliability
