About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in the Innovation Department. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation and leading technical initiatives in the robotics domain that impact our company's strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include overseeing AI-based initiatives from conception to execution, improving and optimizing AI systems for dependability, scalability, and performance. You will also design and implement deep learning pipelines, keep up on recent developments in AI technology and research in the robotics domain, and work together with diverse teams.

Technical leadership is expected, including providing strategic R&D roadmaps in AI/ML and mentoring younger engineers. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing EU-funded and other R&D projects, translating user needs into technical AI/ML solutions, and drafting relevant technical reports/deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development
  • 1+ year of experience in team management
  • Experience with AI domains (computer vision, NLP, LLMs)
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++.
  • Strong experience with AI/ML frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
  • Deployment on edge devices (eg. NVDIA Jetson)
  • Experience in model deployment technologies (TensorRT, ONNX)
  • Experience with Docker , Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication with other members of the team
  • Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • Experience in ROS, ROS2 (nice to have)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). (nice to have)
