Credit Control Professional
Job Description:We're seeking a skilled Credit Control Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us and contribute to our growth.
We are the leading player in the Energy sector, dedicated to making our customers happy through our products and services. To further support our growth, we're expanding our teams and looking for a Credit Control Officer to be based in Athens.

The role will involve supporting the assignment of overdue customer accounts to external debt collection agencies and law firms, and assisting in monitoring the process to help reduce outstanding receivables and support collection KPIs.

You'll work closely with our Legal Department and external law firms to follow up on legal actions, collections, and settlements. Your duties will also include preparing and reviewing case files for referral to legal proceedings, following our company's credit policy, and carrying out collection-related tasks using CRM and Billing systems.

In addition, you'll reach out to customers with outstanding debts to discuss payment options and facilitate settlements. You'll contribute to action plans and improvement initiatives, and assist in preparing ad hoc reports and data analysis for internal use.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered a strong asset.
  • 2 years of experience in a structured Credit Control Department.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, with expert-level skills in Excel.
  • Familiarity with CRM, Billing, and ERP systems, including data monitoring, updates, and report extraction.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of legal processes related to debt recovery will be considered an advantage.
