Job Description\

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely handling of all payments related to Time Charter Freight. This involves reviewing and evaluating payables/receivables based on existing agreements, updating and monitoring software/applications with necessary information, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities\
  • Review and process relevant invoices for Time Charter and Owned Fleet vessels.
  • Negotiate disputes arising under TCP in conjunction with the Operations Department.
  • Monitor and follow up on all payables/receivables based on agreements.
  • Complete Final Hire reconciliation statements.
  • Process TC Relet out invoices.
  • Manage information entry and integrity across software applications used by the division.
  • Internal recharges/invoices for accounting purposes.
  • Voyage results reporting.
  • Explain reason of variations from Estimates on TCE & PnL.

Required Skills and Qualifications\
  • Education in Shipping or Economics at Degree Level.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

Technical Knowledge\
  • Understanding Shipping Terminology.
  • Tanker operation fundamentals considered an asset.
