Plant Operations Specialist

The role of a Plant Operator for Primary Production Unit is to supervise and maintain the Air Separation Unit's production, ensuring it meets customer demands. This involves starting up, shutting down, and optimizing equipment performance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure smooth production of required volumes while monitoring output and product quality.
- Take responsibility for people, property, and environmental safety, as well as risk prevention and compliance with health regulations.
- Start, shut down, and adjust equipment under the supervision of the Production Manager, performing necessary checks and maintenance tasks.
- Adjust plant control variables, monitor process equipment parameters, and meet production specifications and targets.
- Develop a knowledge base of air separation theory and related equipment associated with the process.
- Troubleshoot plant operational issues and alarms, either directly or in conjunction with the local team.
- Participate in the maintenance and updating of plant and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain production operations and distribution records to meet internal and external requirements.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation, along with experience in a production line and a solid grasp of risk management and prevention principles, is highly desirable.
