**Job Description:**

To further enhance our understanding of customer behavior and preferences, we are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer. This individual will play a vital role in helping us make data-driven decisions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business questions into actionable insights and reports
  • Design, build, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms (currently based on Microsoft technologies)
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot issues in BI solutions
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and data pipelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate systems and data sources
  • Develop and execute complex database queries and perform in-depth analyses
  • Create compelling dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
  • Monitor and support the operation of the data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and performance
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or BI Engineer
  • Strong background in data analytics, data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling), and/or data mining
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL frameworks
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools
  • Familiarity with BI visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Initiative-driven and innovative mindset
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
