Key Role: Airport ID Office Manager

Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and guidelines for Airport ID Office operations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Security Operations Unit, staff members, other operational departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

  • Develop and implement SOPs, manuals, and guidelines for Airport ID Office operations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of the Security Operations Unit, staff members, other operational departments, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Airport ID Office and external entities.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of the Airport ID card issuance system and identify gaps or issues that may impact operations.
  • Assess potential threats and risks and assist in preparing and implementing necessary mitigation measures.
  • Provide regular updates to the Security Operations Unit on the progress and readiness of the Airport ID Office's work.
  • Collaborate with ICT to ensure all systems meet design requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure all systems and Airport ID Office staff are prepared for operational launch.
  • Support the procurement process for operational equipment, consumables, and services.
  • Assist in training for airport staff, contractors, and service providers.
  • Assist in selecting and managing service providers.
  • Develop operational plans for the Airport ID Office in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgetary and financial management for Airport ID Office operations.
  • Manage Airport ID Office staff and ensure they are adequately trained and motivated.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to health, safety, and security standards.
  • Foster a strong customer service culture.
  • Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in airport or terminal management.
  • Certified as a Security Manager by the HCAA.
  • Auditing experience valued.
  • Strong knowledge of airport operations.
  • Fluency in Greek and English language.
