Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for providing cost management and quantity surveying expertise on small to large scale architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for architectural projects.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising design integrity.
  • Procurement: Conduct procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract administration.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Produce regular reports on procurement status and identify areas of improvement.
  • Contract Administration: Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within an architectural or construction firm.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and project estimation.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
