Plant Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth production of volumes required, while monitoring the output and quality of the manufactured product.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation of the Air Separation Unit to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Take responsibility for people, property, and environmental safety, as well as risk prevention, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Under the supervision of the Production Manager, start, shut down, and adjust equipment, and perform needed checks.
  • Adjust plant control variables, monitor and manage process equipment parameters to meet production specifications and targets.
  • Obtain a knowledge base of the theory of air separation and related equipment associated with the process.
  • Develop skills to troubleshoot, evaluate process upsets, and take corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot the causes of plant operational issues and alarms, either directly or in conjunction with the local team.
  • Participate in the maintenance and updating of plant and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain production operations and distribution records to meet internal and external requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation/TEI or higher.
  • Experience in a production line is a plus.
  • Good command of risk management and prevention.
  • Solid grasp of health and safety rules.
About the Role:

This role involves working in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that it runs smoothly. You will work closely with the Production Manager to achieve this goal.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong focus on safety. They will also be PC literate and have good problem-solving skills.
