Tax Accountant Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team in Greece. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the banking sector or Big 4 accounting firms.

As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for performing regular bookkeeping activities in accordance with GR GAAP/IFRS, preparing timely statutory financial statements under GR GAAP/IFRS, and managing monthly reconciliations and filings for MyData online platform.

You will also prepare and file various corporate tax returns (VAT, Withholding Taxes, CIT) along with any other tax-related submissions, where required. Additionally, you will analyze and update accounting books and accounting applications parameters to cover legislative and internal requirements.
