Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of tax declarations and scenarios: You will be responsible for ensuring that all tax declarations are prepared accurately and on time. This includes researching and staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
  • Review of clients' accounting books for identification of tax risks: As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will review clients' accounting books to identify potential tax risks and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Growing team members through effective delegation and providing feedback: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for growing and developing other team members through effective delegation and providing constructive feedback.
  • Researching new and existing legislation: You will be responsible for researching new and existing legislation, including analyzing its impact on clients.
  • Preparing tax proposals, memos, and reports: You will prepare tax proposals, memos, and reports for review by senior management.
  • Liaising with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues throughout engagements: As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will work closely with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues to ensure that all engagements run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date technical knowledge of personal tax and business tax matters: You will stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure that you are always providing the best possible service to our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration: A Bachelor's degree in one of these fields is required, with a Master's degree being considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in a medium/large practice environment: You should have 3-5 years of working experience in a medium/large practice environment, preferably in a multinational or audit firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax legislation: You should have an excellent understanding of accounting and tax legislation.
  • Fluent English language skills: You should be fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills: You should have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
