Job Description

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and deployment of new or existing technologies to improve ways of working and overall efficiency. You will work with both on-premises and cloud technologies, including operating systems, virtualization, databases security, networking, firewalling, and containerization technologies.

Key responsibilities include designing infrastructure solutions by embedding security best practices in every implementation, maintaining uninterrupted operations of services and platforms, and ensuring infrastructure and operational services adhere to agreed-upon security and service levels. You will oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of security implementations, aiming for continuous improvement of standards and security frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with over 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure consulting.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional IT projects with large teams.
  • Strong expertise in Application Servers (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and 2Tier/3Tier architecture design.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V), and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Skilled in Java scripting, REST APIs, and JIRA for project management.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and IBM Bluemix.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal abilities.
