Key responsibilities include sourcing and developing new business opportunities, ensuring feedstock quality and quantity, conducting market research, and managing logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, and excellent problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is essential, and a valid driver's license is required for travel within Greece.

Key responsibilities:

* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the biogas plant waste management sector

* Ensure and optimize feedstock in terms of quality and quantity for the smooth and compliant operation of the biogas plants

* Conduct market research to identify potential clients/suppliers and understand their needs

* Manage all logistic aspects of the waste procurement and digestate disposal

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals

* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients/suppliers

* Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events

* Conduct site visits to assess client/supplier needs and propose appropriate solutions

* Provide ongoing support and follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

* Act as a liaison between clients/suppliers and the technical team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery

* Provide technical support and advice to clients/suppliers on waste management solutions

* Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients/suppliers

* Develop customized waste management plans based on client requirements and regulatory compliance

* Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in biogas plant waste management

* Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with key counterparties

* Identify clients/partners for plants' needs on digestate treatment and ensure smooth supply chain

* Explore new business opportunities related to feedstock sourcing and digestate treatment

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in waste management commercial positions

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions

* Strong presentation and negotiation skills

* High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct

* Attention to detail and accountability

* Team player, with the ability to be part of multi-disciplinary and international working groups

* Academic background in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

* Proven interest within the broader waste management sector

* Sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

* Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and compliance requirements

* Proficiency in using computer software and systems for data analysis and reporting

* Experience in analyzing data for key performance metrics and trends

* Fluency in English, verbal and written, is essential

* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Greece
