As we continue to expand our activities, we are looking for a motivated professional to join our Sales & Trading team in Athens. Role Description The Sales Trading Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Marousi. Working closely with corporate, professional and institutional clients, the specialist will contribute to developing new business relationships, identifying market opportunities, supporting transactions and delivering tailored investment and hedging solutions. The position offers exposure to a broad range of financial and commodity markets, with a particular focus on Energy & Environmental Markets, including carbon trading, European energy exchanges and related financial products. The specialist will manage client relationships, present investment ideas, and coordinate with sales and research teams to deliver market insights and product offerings. Daily tasks include monitoring market developments, analyzing trading opportunities, preparing reports on positions and performance, and supporting clients in navigating compliance and regulatory considerations. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
• Valid Category B certification from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) or Bank of Greece.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to work effectively with financial data, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Experience in Energy, Carbon and Environmental Markets, including EU ETS, as well as knowledge of commodities, derivatives and hedging solutions, will be considered a strong advantage.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in Sales & Trading, Brokerage, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Financial Services or a related field.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Strong Investment Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and communicate value propositions clearly.
• Hands-on Trading experience, including order execution, trade booking, and familiarity with trading platforms and market microstructure.
• Solid Finance knowledge, including understanding of financial instruments, risk/return profiles, and basic quantitative concepts.
• Experience or familiarity with Equities markets, including equity products, market drivers, and regulatory considerations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Marousi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and operate in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
