What You Will Be Doing
- Leverage your deep education product expertise to chart our technical course and make strategic decisions that matter
- Craft elegant technical specifications that prioritize simplicity and future-proof scalability while solving complex educational challenges
- Pioneer the integration of generative AI to revolutionize our engineering processes and amplify our mission of educational transformation
- Getting bogged down in traditional management hierarchies - your technical and business acumen will drive your impact
- Drowning in bureaucratic overhead - we've streamlined administration so you can focus on creating transformative solutions
- Producing theoretical strategies - your vision must be grounded in practical, product-level implementation
- Serve as the technical cornerstone for our educational products, wielding CTO-level oversight to drive innovation and deliver measurable business impact through strategic execution
- Passionate advocate for data-driven learning science with extensive practical experience
- Proven track record of 7+ years architecting software solutions, including implementation of sophisticated design patterns and major open source technologies
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud computing architecture, particularly in AWS environments
- 4+ years of end-to-end technical and delivery ownership for revenue-generating products
- Demonstrated expertise in building and implementing advanced Generative AI features
- Proven success in leveraging Generative AI to optimize and streamline operational workflows

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
