Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering business reports that provide insights and support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in reporting tools, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive business reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support various departments and management.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports.
• Create and manage data models to streamline reporting processes and enhance data integrity.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of data used in reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Provide support in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance.
• Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Assist in the automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives and challenges
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence and reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Reporting Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role for at least 2 years.
• Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying improvement opportunities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with statistical analysis and familiarity with statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience in a similar industry or business sector.
