Oceangold Tankers Inc. is seeking a motivated HSQE & Marine Safety Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO standards.
  • Support audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Coordinate servicing of FFE/LSA, liferafts, gas detectors, UTIs, and navigation/communication equipment.
  • Monitor expiry dates of safety-critical items (batteries, HRUs, foam, etc.).
  • Maintain records and documentation in DANAOS.
  • Liaise with Class, Flag, and Port State Authorities.
  • Drive HSQE initiatives and support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Maritime Studies/Marine Engineering or seagoing experience
  • 3+ years in a similar shore-based HSQE or marine safety role.
  • Familiarity with DANAOS and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
