We are seeking a results-oriented and proactive 
Collections Specialist

to join our Accounting team in Athens, Greece. This role is responsible for monitoring customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent English communication skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively while safeguarding the company's cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue balances.
  • Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Negotiate and establish payment schedules when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the system.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes and billing issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on collection status, aging analysis, and potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements in all collection activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of collection processes and the customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control (preferred).
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to work across multiple software platforms.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of EU debt collection regulations will be considered a strong advantage.
