Role Overview
We are looking for an Appian Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure Appian applications that drive process automation and digital transformation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions using the latest capabilities of the Appian platform.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, and maintain robust Appian BPM/low-code applications with strong focus on scalability and security.
Build dynamic user interfaces and workflows using Appian SAIL and process modeling tools.
Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and web services.
Perform database modeling, optimization, and management of CDTs, Records, and Data Stores.
Translate business requirements into effective Appian process solutions and implement best practices.
Collaborate with agile teams during sprints, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software.
What You'll Bring
4+ years of experience in Appian development or related BPM/low-code platforms.
Proven expertise with Appian architecture, SAIL, Expression Rules, Constants, and Decision Rules.
Strong understanding of BPMN and process-driven application design.
Experience with APIs, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow).
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Appian Deployment Automation Manager.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to learning new Appian features like Agentic and Composer.
Nice to Haves
Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python for advanced plugin or integration development.
Prior involvement in Appian project migrations or platform consolidations.
Appian certifications (Associate, Senior, or Lead Developer).
