We are currently hiring for our operations, a
MICROS & POS Specialist.
The Role:
As a MICROS & POS Specialist at Domes Resorts, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and optimization of all MICROS and POS systems across the resort properties. This includes prompt and efficient troubleshooting of technical issues, with a focus on achieving high first-time resolution rates to minimize disruptions to daily operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing system updates, upgrades, and configurations, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—particularly Operations—will be essential to align technical support with broader business objectives and to drive efficient service delivery across all guest-facing and back-of-house systems.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Enter price lists and items in Micros & Twinsoft
  • Send daily the Hospitality Report and check it for the existence of the necessary approvals
  • Complimentary delivery daily
  • Daily delivery of Void & Hospitality to Pos Software Manager
  • Send Hospitality S&M to Pos Software Manager daily
  • Registration and issue of Employee - Maison - Discount user card
  • Daily tracking of charges (Discount - void-Maison - Hospitality) in collaboration with Pos Software
  • Micros & Twinsoft support daily

Requirements
Useful to have:

  • BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar technical support or systems role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven experience with configuring, maintaining, and supporting Oracle MICROS POS systems.
  • Solid understanding of POS hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and reporting tools.
  • Experience with system integrations involving POS, ERP, PMS (e.g., Opera), and payment gateways.
  • Knowledge of user account management, security permissions, and configuration controls.
  • Hands-on experience with system upgrades, patches, and release testing.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a strong asset

  • Strong verbal and communication skills so as to be able to explain complex technical issues in simple terms to non-technical staff and guests
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities is crucial as it needs to coordinate various programs, staff schedules, and administrative duties efficiently
  • The ability to manage technology-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations, while coordinating with other departments and ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations
  • A problem-solving approach with an eye to detail to quickly identify and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and disruption to operations
  • Adaptability skills and being able to grasp new learning opportunities as the hospitality industry embraces new technologies
