MINETTA Insurance, one of the oldest and most respected companies in the Greek insurance market with a proud 50-year legacy, is seeking a Data and BI Analyst to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex projects and innovative initiatives across all areas of the insurance business — from analytics and technology to employee experience and product development. The role
reports directly to the Business Development Director.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage dynamic dashboards and ad hoc reports using enterprise BI platforms (QlikSense preferred).
  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL process to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and accounting teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Apply techniques to reshape and modify datasets in real-time to simulate various business scenarios and test model accuracy.
  • Ensure BI alignment with data governance practices, including consistent use of the Business Glossary and Semantic Layer.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements specific to the insurance industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, and Statistics. MSc in a related field is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI or data engineering roles. Experience working in regulated environments, preferably within insurance or finance, is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ΒΙ Tools (QlikSense preferred, or Tableau/Power BI).
  • Strong proficiency with SQL (T-SQL) and experience working with SQL Server or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of ETL frameworks, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with a programming language (e.g. Python, R) would be a plus.
