We are currently looking for a

Junior Data Engineer

As part of our Data Intelligence team you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Your day-to-day:

  • Data Pipeline Development:

Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Data Integration:

Help integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) into the data warehouse.
- Data Tables & Reporting:

Participate in the development of data tables for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Data Quality & Security:

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.
- Collaboration

: Work with data analysts and business teams to understand requirements and deliver accurate data solutions.
- Documentation & Best Practices:

Document solutions and follow best practices in data engineering.

What we are looking for:

  • Academic Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Technical Skills:

Knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with relational databases and/or cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Data Engineering Concepts:

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Analytical Thinking:

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication & Collaboration

: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.
- Eagerness to Learn:

Motivated to grow in a fast-paced environment and develop new skills.
- Nice to Have:

Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks for large-scale data processing, familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
