About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer to be responsible for advising on compliance risks, monitor regulatory changes, design and review the annual compliance plan, and oversee prudential reporting and risk assessments. The role would work closely with business stakeholders to strengthen internal controls, uphold governance standards, and foster a strong compliance culture in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, measure, and advise senior management on compliance risks, in line with Group, EU, and local regulatory framework
  • Continuously monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, providing updates and recommendations on necessary changes to policies, internal procedures and mitigants
  • Monitoring and examination the implementation of issues related to the proactive oversight of Prudential Regulatory framework and regulatory reporting
  • Design and monitor the implementation of the annual compliance plan, conduct its review and examine its execution to ensure that internal processes & policies are effectively applied
  • Conduct regulatory risk assessments and develop related staff training
  • Support and develop the bank's internal control system to handle the regulatory risk
  • Working collaboratively and interacting on a frequent basis with stakeholders of the Bank and Group, including Regulators
  • Maintain the highest standards of business ethics and the Snappi's culture working collaboratively with other lines of service and practice areas to deliver other services

Requirements

  • BSc in Finance, Business Administration, Legal or related field (MSc would be a plus)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in Banking, Financial Services or Consulting
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory framework and corporate governance in financial services
  • Expertise in regulatory analysis, risk management, and developing compliance strategies and training programs
  • Exposure to specialized regulatory frameworks, such as emerging AI-related regulatory landscapes, will be considered a distinct advantage
  • Professional certification and relevant qualifications in Regulatory Compliance a plus
  • Agile, and proven ability to manage or actively contribute to multiple engagements and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Analytical and critical thinking, results driven and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
