Brand Manager

Mantis Group is one of the leading distributors of soft drinks, beverages, and FMCG products in Greece. The company specializes in sales and brand management, consumer and trade marketing, product management, as well as innovative logistics and distribution services.

The Mantis Group portfolio includes, among others, MALAMATINA winery, ALPHA ESTATE winery, , 3M consumer goods, AQUA Carpatica water, Energizer batteries, Mars products for the impulse channel ,the Greek Spirits Collection Brands and a selection of alcoholic beverages.

Job Description

In this dynamic environment, we are now looking for:

A Brand Manager, based in Athens responsible for driving the development of our Spirits and Wines portfolio in the Greek market.

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the development and operational implementation of marketing initiatives, such as Sponsorships, POS, Digital tools, Promotions, Exhibitions, and many other activities, behind the Brands of the Mantis Group portfolio.

The Brand Manager will be responsible for strengthening trade marketing capabilities, elevating the speed/quality of trade executions, identifying business opportunities and gaining market and customer insights, ensuring superb allocation of resources, and enabling our brands to win at the point of sale.

What we look for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing

• Any diploma from a Certified Educational Organization in spirits and/or wines will be key to your success in this role.

• Work experience with BTL/Digital/PR agencies

• Fluency in Greek & and English (verbal/written) is mandatory
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Budgeting, forecasting and P&L is a must
• Experience across social media platforms
• Outstanding oral/written communication and presentation skills
• Willing to travel, and adjust working hours according to job requirements, which may involve time spent in the On-Trade on certain evenings
• Driving license (cat. B)
• Work experience in the Wines and/or Spirits industry (in Marketing & Trade Marketing departments) will be considered an asset.

• Immense network and strong relationships in the HO.RE.CA channel (Bars – Restaurants – Hotels – Special Accounts) and local influencers

• Attention to detail, adds value in all aspects of work
• Inventive, seeking opportunities, overcoming difficulties, challenging the status quo and finding solutions
• Analytical skills, able to absorb multiple information and conceive complex data, translates multiple information into clear, effective action plans
• Learns fast, and adapts well to new circumstances
• Effective project management within time & and budget constraints
• Co-operative, team player, share knowledge
• Fully conversant and active in social media platforms
