We are waiting for you to join our Headquarters as a Senior Import & Export Supervisor in our Import & Export Department. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth and compliant flow of international trade operations, overseeing daily import/export activities and supporting key finance functions such as costing and inventory control.

Reporting to the Finance Division, you'll drive process improvements and cost optimization, contributing to greater efficiency and the company's ongoing growth.

Egaleo, Attica | Full-time | Import & Export Department

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise and manage all import and export operations (documentation, transportation, customs clearance, Incoterms, compliance with regulations)
• Coordinate with external partners (suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers) and internal departments (logistics, accounting, warehouse)
• Manage a small team of import & export officers/assistants
• Actively support the Finance department in areas including:
  - Costing of imports
  - Inventory control & stock reconciliation
  - Oversight of warehouse ledger updates
  - Coordination and review of periodic stocktakes, in collaboration with the rest of the team
• Monitor and optimize logistics and transportation costs, in collaboration with the Logistics Department
• Continuously assess and refine import procedures, leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
• Ensure the accuracy of receipts, ensuring that they align with the corresponding orders
• Oversee the daily reception and dispatch of goods, maintaining meticulous records of inventory updates to facilitate real-time stock accuracy
• Perform checks on customer return invoices, issue credit notes, and handle invoice issuance
• Verify the receipt of goods against supplier invoices and coordinate for additional invoicing or credit notes when needed
• Record cost estimates and purchase invoices, verifying and documenting transportation costs and product costing

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within import/export operations
• Solid understanding of customs procedures, documentation, and relevant legislation
• Proven ability to connect import/export operations with costing, inventory, and financial controls
• Strong team leadership and people management skills, with a record of fostering collaboration and performance
• Results-driven mindset, capable of delivering within tight deadlines and dynamic environments
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SoftOne, Entersoft, or similar) will be considered an asset
