Senior Cost Analyst

To join our financial team in Athens

The Role:

The Senior Cost Analyst will be part of Cost Analysts team. She/he will manage the costing process and provide data of utmost importance for the financial performance of the organization.

How you will contribute:

  • Calculate product costs for existing and new products
  • Prepare monthly reports for the cost performance and forecast
  • Perform periodically checks on production procedures and recipes
  • Calculate and report the operating production costs based on company's methodology
  • Perform periodic cost accounting activities as needed
  • Perform detailed variance analysis of actual financial results versus budget
  • Gather and analyze financial data reflecting company's financial performance
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting process
  • Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
  • Support Project Management teams in project financial management related to cost analysis
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures

What you will bring:

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other relevant field
  • Master's degree would be considered an asset
  • 3- 5 years previous working experience in a Cost Control/Analyst role
  • Experience in Manufacturing Cost Analysis is a must
  • Experience in Food Production Industry will be considered an asset
  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP
  • Proficient user in MS Office applications (excel)
  • Highly organizational, professional, and consistent mentality
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Familiar to basic accounting principles and financial management concepts
