Accountant

ocus on Manufacturing Operations, to deliver accurate financial insights and support a high-performing team.

Reporting to:
Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee accounting records for US GAAP, Greek GAAP, and Tax ledgers, ensuring full accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal CFAP and company standards.
• Support key finance processes including month-end closings, budgeting cycles, cost accounting activities, and compliance-related tasks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the plant, providing reliable reporting and data analysis to support informed business decisions.
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, public authorities, and operational departments.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements, including SOX procedures and documentation.
• Perform and monitor manufacturing accounting tasks, including GL entries, inventory valuation, and cost analysis.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing accounting systems, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports, performance analyses, and supporting documentation for management and audit purposes.
• Assist in maintaining SAP accounting processes and contribute to system enhancements
• when required.
• Support manufacturing specific projects and initiatives, providing accounting insights to optimize cost structures and operational performance.

Candidate profile:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an accounting role within the industrial sector; experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Greek GAAP, with hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting and cost analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Familiarity with internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing costs and provide actionable insights.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
